West Bergen Celebrates 45th Anniversary At Gala Ball

This spring, West Bergen Mental Healthcare marked 45 years of service to our communities by hosting the Sapphire Ball at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, New Jersey. More than 450 guests attended the event. All funds raised from the Sapphire Ball will go toward the Center for Children and Youth in Ramsey, which provides counseling, addiction and psychiatric services for children and families in need.

Highlighting the Ball was the recognition of seven distinguished individuals: Ann Alford, Saddle River; Kathy and Kevin Boswell, Franklin Lakes; Janet Kireker, Ho-Ho-Kus; Susan and Charles Snyder, Ridgewood and David Bolger, Ridgewood, West Bergen’s Guardian Angel. They were recognized for their dedication and service to the community and to West Bergen.

At the Ball, Russell D. Kamp, Midland Park, President of West Bergen’s Board of Trustees, formally announced West Bergen’s launch of a $10 million building campaign for an additional and distinctive center to be located in Oakland. “Together with our Ridgewood and Ramsey sites,” he said, “the new building will propel West Bergen far into the future and enable us to double the number of individuals served within five years.”
